BROWNSVILLE, Texas – As part of Texas Southmost College’s (TSC) ongoing comprehensive CARE initiative, all students enrolled in the fall 2020 semester will receive an automatic 20% tuition reduction scholarship. College officials said that during these uncertain times, students can be certain their TSC family is here to support them.

“The Scorpion family continues to be relentless in making higher education affordable for our community,” said TSC President Dr. Jesús Roberto Rodríguez. “The TSC Board of Trustees and leaders across campus unequivocally agreed our number one priority when budgeting for the fall semester should be providing direct support for students.”

The scholarship, which will be applied automatically, benefits all students, whether they reside in-district or out of district. Although the scholarship does not apply to fees, the TSC Board of Trustees also approved waiving 100% of student parking fees for the fall semester.
