The Children Museum of Brownsville is proud to announce that our first traveling exhibit of the new year will be arriving this month, and it’s a great one!
The Curious George: Let’s Get Curious exhibit is an incredible multi-facted exhibit based entirely on the world of the beloved character from books and television. Children will get to freely explore the world of Curious George, interacting with exhibits that teach concepts about subjects such as math, science, and engineering. They can weigh fruits and vegetables at a produce stand, operate a serious of wheels to help George climb up a building, build a whirligig, visit a museum within a museum, and even put their science skills to the test in order to sink a putt of mini-golf. They can even have their picture taken with the rocket from Curious George’s fantastic space adventure!
We will be celebrating the grand opening of Curious George: Let’s Get Curious on Thursday, June 10 right here at the Ringgold Civic Pavilion next to the Children’s Museum. The exhibit will remain here until Sunday, September 12, so you’ll have an entire summer and more to be able to join us and experience the fun!
As part of the grand opening celebrations, our friends at Whataburger will be joining us. Their food truck will be on location at the museum on June 10, and they’ll be giving away FREE Whataburgers from 10 am to 12 pm. You won’t want to miss out on this, so be sure to show up early
