RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The Western Athletic Conference announced on Monday that freshman Anna Torslov of The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women’s soccer team has been named WAC Offensive Player of the Week.
Torslov scored her first-career goal and dished out an assist in UTRGV’s win over Texas Lutheran as she finished with a career-high three points.
Torslov added to her strong week with her second goal of the season in UTRGV’s victory over Southern Illinois on Sunday.

UTRGV will be back in action Friday when it opens WAC play at Kansas City at 7 p.m.
