McAllen, TX — The International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS) is thrilled to present its 42nd Collage Annual Gala to be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at the McAllen Convention Center Ballroom. The IMAS will be honoring the City of McAllen for its steadfast support of the museum and its mission for 54 years.

Each year, the funds raised through Collage help the museum fulfill its mission by presenting a wide range of engaging art and science exhibits, cultural events and educational programs to all people, regardless of income level. During the past year the IMAS has continued to serve the community reaching over 75,000 through engaging online programs and exhibitions.

“The City of McAllen has shown tremendous support of the IMAS and has also been a true partner for decades,” stated Ann Fortescue, President and Executive Director. “From our partnership with McAllen Public Utility for educational programs and the BioZone, to the support of McAllen Parks and Recreation and the McAllen Public Library, we are honored to recognize the work the city does to ensure IMAS continues to engage our community and its children as a center for our region’s educational, cultural and economic development.”
