IBC has improved their presence in Weslaco and continues to increase their footprint in the Rio Grande Valley by replacing the old IBC branch in Weslaco and opening a new one in Mission. IBC Bank proudly hosted a grand re-opening event for the Weslaco branch celebrating over twenty years of service in Weslaco.

David Guerra President and CEO of IBC Bank said to be proud hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the grand re-opening of Weslaco’s main branch location at 606 S. Texas Blvd. “The bank will celebrate this special day on the steps of the newly rebuilt office building,” he said.

Texas State Senator Eddie Lucio, Jr. attended and took part of the ceremony; Mr. Guerra and the Mr. Lucio have been friends for many years.

Even though the day of January 29, 2014 was a cold afternoon, that did not prevented for customers, IBC Bank executives and employees, City of Weslaco officials, and the public to attend to this special ceremony.

IBC Bank also donated $1,500.00 to St Pius X Catholic Church as part of their program to give back to the community.

A new branch in Mission, Texas

On February 12, 2014 IBC Bank opened a new branch on 121 S. Shary Rd. Mission, Texas, this event was also very successful, successes attributable as a result of an aggressive and innovative attitude to “Do More” for their customers and communities.
