EDINBURG, Texas — Texas Cook’Em: High Steaks in Edinburg is preparing to welcome thousands of residents and visitors for an unforgettable Fourth of July celebration as an official host location for America’s Block Party, part of the nationwide America250 commemoration.
Taking place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Ebony Hills Golf Course, the event will feature the award-winning Texas Cook’Em BBQ competition, live entertainment, food and market vendors, family-friendly activities, and a spectacular fireworks finale.
This year’s lineup includes:
- Firecracker 5K
- Rogue Boxing Independence Day Night of Champions
- Cars and Stripes Car Show
- Family Fun Zone
- Freedom Jump Skydive Event
- Tribute and cover band performances celebrating Green Day, George Strait, Morgan Wallen, and Jimmy Gonzalez
- Sizzle and Stripes Fireworks Show

Organizers are excited to announce that all food vendor spaces have officially sold out, demonstrating the tremendous enthusiasm surrounding this year’s event. A limited number of commercial vendor spaces remain available for businesses interested in participating.
As communities across the country celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, Texas Cook’Em will bring together families, businesses, and visitors for a day filled with patriotism, entertainment, and community spirit.
