For Rita Garcia Limas success has come around every turn in her life. She has gone from a Weslaco High School cheerleader to a successful beauty pageant contestant. In fact, in January she was selected as Ms. McAllen American Beauty, also capturing awards as the Most Photogenic and Miss Congeniality. While competing in beauty pageants is a passion for the red headed green-eyed beauty. Her nature for competition and success is now being directed toward her business.
Garcia has her own home-based business where she works as an independent designer for Origami Owl Custom Jewelry. “This is something that I absolutely love to do,” says Rita, “Direct sales is something that I have been doing since I was 18, and actually started selling Avon for a couple of years. I went on to Initial Outfitters which then lead me to this new company, Origami Owl.”
Origami Owl Custom Jewelry is direct sales home-based business, which features unique customizable jewelry.
“Origami Owl is a fun and unique way to tell your personalized story through charms, lockets and dangles. No two lockets will ever be the same; everyone is able to tell their own personal story through an Origami Owl Locket,” according to Rita. She added, “I wake up every day knowing that I am pursuing something that I enjoy. How can I call this work when I have a blast doing this? I truly believe that when you do something that your passionate about, you will find great success in it. This opportunity has helped me engage with other women who are looking for a job where they can set their own hours and make some extra money while having the luxury of staying home.”
When asked about whether she believes this is just a passing fad, she quickly responds, “Definitely not, with time I see Origami Owl continuing to grow and evolve offering a large variety of merchandise to suit and please its future customers. The company is constantly adding new products to meet the requirements of its clients.”
“Origami Owl offers limited edition products which are only available for a short period of time. As well as Hostess Exclusive’s which are only obtainable by hosting an Origami Owl Jewelry bar.
Not only is the jewelry unique but also the story behind the company is very interesting. The founder of Origami Owl Custom Jewelry is Bella, a high school teenager who at the time was 14 in 2010 and wanted a Jeep for her 16th birthday. Bella’s goal was quickly reached and surpassed. Today they have partnered with thousands of Designers across the Country who run their own Origami Owl Business.
In regard to her success Rita anxiously looks forward to taking her business to the next level. She says, “I have set my dreams and goals high. I know if I can build a team here in South Texas and become a successful direct sales entrepreneur, the possibilities are endless!”
