City of McAllen to Host 2nd Dose COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic

City of McAllen officials, in conjunction with the McAllen Independent School District, Hidalgo County and Texas National Guard, will be hosting a second dose COVID-19 vaccine clinic tomorrow, Friday, April 23 at the McAllen Convention Center, 700 Convention Center Boulevard, starting at 8:00 a.m. for all who received their first dose on Friday, March 26, 2021.

There is currently an ongoing second dose clinic happening today at the McAllen Convention Center for all who received their first dose on Thursday, March 25, 2021.

Please note the following updated entrance directions:

• Entrance is through 29^th St. and Col. Plummer Drive (Galveston Ave.) at light
• Follow Col. Plummer Drive to the right to the west side of the McAllen Convention Center
• Parking and entrance for the clinic will be on the west side of the McAllen Convention Center

Vaccines will be administered by McAllen I.S.D. school nurses and Hidalgo County Health and Human Services Department nurses.
