Brownsville ISD receives 150 COVID-19 Vaccine Vouchers

Brownsville, Texas – The Brownsville Independent School District (BISD) announces today that 150 COVID-19 vaccine vouchers were secured for staff members 65 and older.

“On behalf of the district, I want to thank Cameron County Commissioner Joey Lopez for securing 150 COVID-19 vaccine vouchers for our employees who are 65 and older,” said Dr. René Gutiérrez, superintendent of schools of Brownsville Independent School District. “We are grateful for his support to our BISD family. We will be identifying staff members who are 65 and older so that they can receive the vaccine.”

The COVID-19 vaccine voucher is redeemable on a first come, first serve basis. The Clinic is scheduled for Friday, January 29, 2021, at the Los Fresnos Fire Department located at 100 Rodeo Dr.
