The AAF-Rio Grande Valley will be hosting their annual media auction at South Texas Buick GMC, November 9th from 5:30pm to 9:00pm. The event is free to attend, and the auction is open to the public.
Rio Grande Valley, Texas – (November 9, 2017) – The American Advertising Federation of the Rio Grande Valley will be hosting their annual Media Auction this year at South Texas Buick GMC on Thursday, November 9th. This exciting event gives advertisers and businesses, the opportunity to bid on valuable advertising packages donated by local media providers. The media auction is the only fundraising event the AAF-RGV holds each year. The proceeds allow them to continue their successful programming efforts, local student scholarships, and the American Advertising Awards (ADDY’s).
There will be over $30,000 worth of advertising to auction. Starting at 50% off retail value, this is a great opportunity for local media buyers and businesses large and small to save on their 2018 media purchases or try media channels that they might not have tried before. The media packages have been graciously donated by local advertising providers like Telemundo, R-Communications, Benchmark Outdoor, KRGV, iHeartRadio and many more.
With nearly 100 members across the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, the AAF-RGV is an affiliate member of the AAF national organization, headquartered in Washington, D.C. The AAF-RGV is one of more than 220 such professional advertising and marketing chapters, representing over 50,000 members nationwide. It is the only professional advertising trade association that encompasses all segments of the industry in its membership, that is, advertising agency, media, supplier and client.
