McALLEN, Texas – The Warren Group Architects has been named the 2026 Luna Award recipient for A/E/C Firm of the Year, recognizing more than two decades of architectural work, community involvement, and professional leadership throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
The award represents a significant milestone for the firm and its founder and principal, Laura Nassri Warren Ogletree, AIA, NCARB, who has led The Warren Group Architects for 22 years.
The firm described the recognition as the result of years spent designing projects, developing relationships, and serving communities across the Valley.
“This recognition is a reflection of the dedication, passion, and commitment that have guided our firm throughout the years,” The Warren Group Architects said in announcing the award.
Warren founded the practice on principles of quality, integrity, strong professional relationships, and service to the communities where the firm works. Her approach to architecture has also extended beyond the buildings her company designs.
According to the firm, Warren views the profession as an opportunity to create opportunities for others, contribute positively to communities, and strengthen the future of the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
An important part of that effort has been encouraging the next generation of women pursuing careers in the A/E/C fields. Warren has worked to create a professional environment where young women can develop their abilities, gain experience, and build careers in industries where women have historically been underrepresented.
Warren’s “leadership, perseverance, and dedication” have shaped the organization over its 22-year history and described the Luna Award as a reflection of that journey.
The firm emphasized, however, that the honor belongs to more than its founder.
“This award is not just about one person. It is a celebration of everyone who has been part of our journey,” the Warren’s Group said.
The Warren Group Architects thanked its employees for their creativity, dedication and work, while also recognizing the clients, consultants, colleagues, friends and family members who have supported the firm and entrusted it with their projects.
The firm also thanked the RHCA Luna Awards for recognizing women-owned A/E/C businesses and women whose leadership is making an impact on their industries and communities.
The recognition drew congratulations for Warren, including a personal message on social media from Karla Medina Torres.
“So incredibly proud of you, Laura!” Medina Torres said. “A well-deserved recognition of not only your extraordinary talent as an architect, but also the amazing leader, friend, and human being you are. Your passion, integrity, and commitment to our community continue to inspire so many.”
U.S. Rep. Monica De La Cruz also congratulated Warren on the recognition.
The Warren Group Architects extended congratulations to the other nominees and 2026 award recipients, saying it was an honor to be recognized alongside accomplished women and firms from throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
For Warren and her team, the A/E/C Firm of the Year award marks both an acknowledgment of what has been built over the past 22 years and a continuation of the firm’s commitment to architecture, professional opportunity, and the communities it serves.
