PHARR, TEXAS – Terracon, a leading national consulting engineering firm comprised of engineers, scientists, architects, facilities experts, and field professionals, announces the hiring of Roy Cordero as a field scientist in its Pharr office.
Cordero brings a strong foundation in environmental science and regulatory compliance. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, graduating cum laude, and began his career with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), where he advanced from intern to a full-time role supporting environmental reviews. His experience includes preparing environmental documentation and supporting compliance efforts in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) for infrastructure and development projects.
His interest in environmental science stems from a long-standing appreciation for the outdoors and conservation, which led him to pursue a career focused on protecting natural resources.
In his role at Terracon, Cordero will support environmental projects through field data collection, documentation, and regulatory compliance efforts while continuing to develop his technical expertise.
