Plains Capital Bank has been increasing their presence by participating in different events provided by local chambers of commerce such as the McAllen Chamber’s Prime Time event where Albert Chapa PlainsCapital Bank McAllen Market president addressed the crowd.

Steve Ahlenius, President and CEO of the McAllen Chamber of Commerce said, “We couldn’t do this event without PlainsCapital Bank, they’ve made all this possible.”

He continued to say that PlainsCapital has a great story and that they are a solid supporter of the chamber and businesses in the Rio Grande Valley.

Chapa said, “First of all, on behalf of PlainsCapital Bank I want to thank you for allowing us to continue being part of tonight’s Prime Time event.”

Chapa said, “We’ve been in the market for more than a year and we are excited about being here because we have a real commitment to the Valley; we bring stability and strength.”

Chapa and other bank officials were present along with other business people invited to be part of the Prime Time event. He said, “Our group is going to be here if you have any questions and want to visit with us. We are here to serve your financial needs both in the deposit and on the loan side.”

He pointed out that he recognized the importance of Prime Time, “This event is about rewarding or giving thanks to the new members and welcoming them into the chamber. Because the chamber plays a very important part in our community to help develop the commerce here in the McAllen area and to bring in new members to make this a better place to do business.”

He pointed out that PlainsCapital Bank believes in contributing to the communities where it does its own business because they want to make this area a better place to live and work.  TBB
