In this episode of “McAllen’s Own,” the City of McAllen Office of Communications introduces Priscilla Celina Suarez who, as the McAllen Public Library Events Coordinator and Marketing employee, helps plan, coordinate, and implement special events at the award-winning McAllen Public Library. Suarez is also a poet and recently served as McAllen’s Poet Laureate who not only brought cultural poetry to the region but also, who bridged her Tex-Mex culture with her passion in writing.
