Texas Governor Greg Abbott recently recognized Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD for its academic performance and commitment to investing in educators. PSJA ISD earned an A rating with an overall score of 90 in the 2026 Texas A-F Accountability Ratings, with more than 60% of its campuses earning an A and all 44 campuses receiving either an A or B.
Governor Abbott also pointed to PSJA’s 82% participation in the Teacher Incentive Allotment, citing the district as an example of how supporting and rewarding effective teachers can strengthen student outcomes.
