Global Company to Host Recruitment Fair to Fill Hundreds of New Jobs in Mission, Feb. 17th

MISSION, TX — A global customer service center that is creating nearly 350 jobs in Mission is hosting a hiring event on Saturday at the Center for Education and Economic Development (CEED). 

Ubiquity, a business process outsourcer with headquarters in New York City and locations across the U.S. and globally, is set to expand its operations to Mission. The move is part of their commitment to delivering industry-leading customer experience management to innovative brands in healthcare, finance, insurance, and e-commerce and contributing to the economic and cultural growth of the region.

“Mission’s strategic location and vibrant culture make it the perfect place for our team to support our diverse and growing client portfolio,” Ubiquity President & Chief Customer Officer Sagar Rajgopal said. “With nearly 350 seats, we’re bringing high-quality jobs to a community known for its growth and diversity.”

The company is investing $4 million to retrofit an existing facility at 4101 S. Shary Road, where it will employ nearly 350 people who will earn an average of $15-18 per hour, Mission EDC CEO Teclo J. Garcia said. 

“Witnessing a new company bring in hundreds of jobs is not just about bolstering our economy; it’s about empowering communities, creating opportunities, and shaping the future of our workforce,” Garcia said. “We are thankful to Ubiquity for choosing Mission and to our friends in McAllen who connected us with the company.”

Ubiquity will hire about 100 employees in its first hiring round and will hire more as it continues to establish itself in Mission. 

Those interested in learning more about the company are encouraged to attend a meet-and-greet/recruitment event on Saturday, Feb. 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CEED, located at 801 N. Bryan Road. Attendees are encouraged to come prepared for potential onsite interviews.
