PHARR, Texas – Terracon, a leading national consulting engineering firm comprised of engineers, scientists, architects, facilities experts, and field professionals, announces the hiring of Adamari Davila as a project engineer in its Pharr office.
Davila brings six years of experience in geotechnical engineering, supporting a wide range of projects throughout South Texas and Mexico. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) and is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
Davila was introduced to geotechnical engineering during her time at UTRGV, where a professor recommended her for an internship that ultimately sparked her interest in the field. She has since developed a strong passion for the profession, drawn to its combination of technical expertise and real-world problem solving.
She is particularly motivated by the role geotechnical engineering plays as the foundation of successful projects. Providing critical design guidance early in the process allows projects to move forward efficiently and with confidence.
In her role at Terracon, Davila will support geotechnical engineering projects through analysis, design recommendations, and collaboration with project teams while continuing to grow her technical and professional expertise.
“I’ve had a great experience joining Terracon and look forward to learning from exceptional mentors and colleagues,” said Davila. “I’m excited to continue growing in my career while contributing in a meaningful way and being someone both the team and our clients can rely on.”
