On July 3, 2025, Texas Regional Bank hosted a public event at its McAllen branch, located at 4501 N. 10th Street, McAllen, TX 78504. The event, titled “Ensure Your Future and Celebrate Your Freedom with TRB Insurance,” served as both a community celebration of Independence Day and an introduction to the bank’s expanded insurance services.

Jamie Brown-Rosas, Chief Business and Community Development Officer at Texas Regional Bank, confirmed the purpose of the gathering was to bring the community together and increase awareness of the bank’s insurance division. According to Brown-Rosas, the event is the first of its kind to combine the Fourth of July celebration with a spotlight on TRB Insurance.

Representatives from the insurance division were present to discuss available services. These include consumer and commercial policies covering homeowners, renters, condominiums, automobiles, watercraft, and ATVs. Attendees had the opportunity to speak directly with insurance professionals to assess coverage options tailored to individual needs.

Texas Regional Bank launched its insurance division and has since expanded its offerings and personnel. The event marked a formal reintroduction of the service line to the Rio Grande Valley.

The event featured Independence Day decorations, complimentary hot dogs, popcorn, and freshly squeezed lemonade made by local youth volunteers. It was open to the public, with food and activities provided to both guests and walk-ins.

Texas Regional Bank continues to offer a range of financial products, including personal and business banking, mortgages, wealth management, and international banking. Its insurance division provides both personal and commercial coverage, reflecting the institution’s continued growth and commitment to serving the community.
