The event brings together leaders of colleges and universities, businesses, and nonprofits and other stakeholders who are committed to supporting more college opportunities for students across the country. This year’s summit will focus on building sustainable collaborations in communities through strong K-12 and higher education partnerships to encourage students to go to college. Attendees will also explore how colleges can work together to dramatically increase college completion, especially for first- generation, low-income, and underrepresented students.

The daylong, invitation-only event will be held at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center and feature remarks by President Obama, the First Lady, and other prominent officials. Attendees will participate in panel discussions and breakout sessions, and have been invited to the White House Tree Lighting Ceremony later that evening.
