With the threat of rain looming from Tropical Depression Grace, the City of Mission has opted to open a self-serve station for sandbags at Lions Park (1500 Kika de la Garza loop) beginning Wednesday to help residents.
The sandbag distribution will run from 7:30am-8pm from Wednesday to Friday, weather permitting. This is only open to Mission residents. Masks and social distancing are highly encouraged at the site.
The location will also be open throughout hurricane season on Saturdays from 8am- 1pm.
