Last time both teams confronted each other the South Texas Derby ended with a 0-0 draw. As the Toros fight to earn a spot in the playoff race in this Derby, Defender Manny Padilla mentioned “It’s going to be a good one for the books as derbies are always a battle for 90+ minutes. You can expect us to come with a 110 percent effort as we also look to make a push for playoffs. We surely don’t want to lose this game as it is a derby and a playoff game for us. However, we will rely on our home crowd advantage to be our key player to push us throughout the game with their support.”

RGVFC will be giving away cowboy hats sponsored by Yoplait GoGurt to the first 1,000 fans of the match.
