AUSTIN, Texas — The American Legion, Department of Texas today announced that over 50 RGV Delegates have graduated from American Legion Texas Boys State. During the week, the RGV Statesmen were elected to various positions, from Mayor, party committees, District Attorney, District Clerk, etc. But, most importantly, they filed and campaigned for Governor, Attorney General, House of Representatives, and other important offices, collecting required signatures to get their name on the ballot, learning about servant leadership, patriotism, our government and the political process.

Each Statesmen was assigned to a city, county and district where they campaigned all the way to their Federalist or Nationalist Party conventions, ultimately electing the top three: Governor, Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General, where all three represented the Nationalist Party!
