The RGV Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is well known for their assistance to small businesses.  They assist people who want to start their own business with Business Plans and help at finding financing.  They partner up with SBA ,UTRGV – SBDC and Liftfund to assist.  The RGVHCC encourages business owners to get certified in order to get their foot in the door with the state and federal governments when bids go out for product or services.

“The RGV Hispanic Chamber is always working to find new ways to highlight their business members and bring value to the Rio Grande Valley.  They are excited to release a new endeavor with Zoom training every other Wednesday of the month at 12 noon.  We will bring helpful tools to business owners to help increase profitability and training for their teams.  We will also bring awareness and mindful tips on mental health, social media tips, and many more subject matters.  Please stay on the lookout so that you can join us, and if you have recommendations on items you would like to hear more about, we are open to feedback.   Remember, we are the RGV Hispanic chamber and are Valleywide and can connect you with members regionally for business support and growth!  If you are not a member yet, please reach out, as the leaders of the zoom training will come from our membership.” stated Sarah Hammond,. RGVHCC Chair elect.

The committee will be highlighting a corporate partner and a small business twice a month via zoom.  In addition, they will create a Boot Camp exclusively for business owners commencing in June.  A Graduation Luncheon will be held after the 5 workshops.
