On another note, Texas Regional Bank recently celebrated the start of construction of their new branch in Rio Grande City. It will be the bank’s first banking center in this community. Texas State Representative Ryan Guillen and other key figures from Rio Grande City and Starr County attended the celebration alongside executive leaders from the bank.
