Miss Weslaco and Little Miss Weslaco crowned

The Weslaco Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the winners of the Miss Weslaco & Little Miss Weslaco Pageants, produced by J. Nava Studios and held Sunday, February 12, at the WISD Performing Arts Center.

The title of Miss Weslaco went to Karsen Szutz, daughter of Chad and Romy Szutz.   Claire de la Garza, daughter of Marco and Veronica de la Garza, was selected as 1st runner-up, while Corrigan Tobin, daughter of Patrick and Venessa Tobin, was named 2nd runner-up.

Little Miss Weslaco went to Victoria Renee Barrera, daughter of Cynthia Gonzalez. Makaila Jae Bulnes, daughter of Mario and Vanessa Bulnes, was named 1st runner-up while 2nd runner-up went to Mia Garcia, daughter of Jose Angel and Vanessa Garcia.

The Miss Weslaco and Little Miss Weslaco courts will participate in the 28thannual Texas Onion Fest, Saturday, March 25 at Mayor Pablo G. Pena City Park.  Miss Szutz and Miss Barrera will also represent the City of Weslaco at chamber events such as ribbon cuttings and ground breakings. Special thanks to Daniella Hernandez, Miss Weslaco 2016, for an outstanding year.
