Mission, Texas – Mission Collegiate High School (MCHS) had a total of 19 students earn AP Scholar recognition for their exceptional achievement on Advanced Placement (AP) exams.

The College Board’s AP program provides motivated and academically prepared students with the opportunity to take rigorous, college-level courses while still in high school, and to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both for successful performance on the AP exams. The College Board recognizes several levels of achievement based on students’ performance on AP exams.

Two students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award. This is earned by receiving an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more exams. The AP Scholars with Honor Award was earned by Carina Martinez and Jeremy Soto from the 2019 graduating class.
