McAllen Public Library, in partnership with Workforce Solutions, invites the public to their semi-annual job fair on Saturday, August 25 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Main Library. Attendees will connect with employers from over 50 different companies, fill out printed and online applications, and have onsite interviews. Attendees should bring updated resumes and dress interview ready.
In preparation for the job fair, MPL will partner with Goodwill Industries of South Texas, Inc. to provide free classes designed to assist adults at any point in the job seeking process. Each class will cover topics like searching for jobs, preparing resumes, and interview techniques. Classes will be held at the Main Library on Friday, August 17 and 24, from 2:00-4:00 PM. All adults are welcome to attend.

The library is a one-stop shop for those looking for better opportunities.”
