McAllen Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Assault Suspect

McALLEN, Texas — The McAllen Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 35-year-old Joanna Coronado, who is wanted in connection with an active assault investigation.

The incident was originally reported to McAllen Police on April 29, 2026, occurring in the 7600 block of North 10th St. Following a thorough investigation, McAllen Police Investigators identified Coronado as the primary suspect.

A magistrate in the McAllen Municipal Court has since reviewed the case, determined that probable cause has been established, and issued an active warrant of arrest for Coronado for Assault, a Class “A” Misdemeanor.
