McAllen, Texas — McAllen Police Officers are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a woman wanted in connection with an assault investigation.
Officers responded to a report of an assault on July 23, 2026, at approximately 12:58 p.m. in the 3600 block of Pecan Boulevard. The reporting party advised that they confronted a male and female after noticing damage to their vehicle in the parking area. The reporting party stated that the female suspect then physically assaulted them before leaving the area in a dark pickup.
Investigators with the McAllen Police Department identified the suspect as Lorena Skarleth Hernandez Salazar through surrounding surveillance camera footage.
A magistrate in the McAllen Municipal Court determined that probable cause was established to issue an arrest warrant for Lorena Skarleth Hernandez Salazar for Assault, a Class “A” misdemeanor.
Lorena Skarleth Hernandez Salazar is described as 35 years old, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, approximately 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Her last known address is in McAllen, Texas.
