McALLEN, Texas – Join the McAllen Heritage Center, July 11th from 10AM to 4PM for a special event dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who have served our country, ensuring the freedoms we cherish today. “Veterans Then & Now” invites all local veterans, regardless ofage or rank, to participate in a heartfelt tribute through a complimentary photoshoot and an optional interview session.
“Veterans Then & Now” is a unique opportunity to celebrate and commemorate our veterans’ remarkable contributions. Each participating veteran will receive a professional photoshoot, capturing their strength, dignity, and pride. These photographs will serve as timeless keepsakes, honoring their service and sacrifice.
In addition to the photoshoot, veterans are invited to participate in an optional interview. This is a chance for them to share their personal stories, reflections on their service, and thoughts on the nation. These interviews will provide invaluable insights into the experiences of our veterans, preserving their voices for future generations.
The aim is to deeply honor our veterans, recognizing their courage and commitment. By documenting their stories andcapturing their portraits, we express our gratitude and ensure that their legacies live on. This event is a small token of appreciation for their selfless service.
The photos will be converted into poster size and will be on display at the McAllen Heritage Center during select months. The display may also travel to other appropriate sites. We welcome all veterans to join us for this meaningful event. Your stories and experiences are the foundation of our nation’s history, and we are privileged to honor you.
