Lone Star National Bank collected 2,185 pounds of food during its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive in the RGV and San Antonio markets.  The total translates to 1,820 meals for struggling families, Veterans, Seniors and homeless right here in the Rio Grande Valley.

Other businesses and organizations are always invited to make donations of money or non-perishable foods at the Food Bank RGV throughout the year.  Foods needed:  canned soups, tuna, peanut butter, high protein canned vegetables, and easy to open meat products.  These foods are important as the Food Bank RGV is feeding up to 64,000 on a weekly basis from Sullivan City to South Padre Island.

For online donations, please visit foodbankrgv.com.  Every $5 donated can provide 25 meals for a child right here in the Valley!
