UPDATE:
McAllen Police Investigators continue to investigate a report of multiple persons under the age of 21 in possession of alcoholic beverages. This investigation was prompted by acts reported on April 11, 2026 at a residence on the 1800 block of Kingsborough Avenue, in McAllen, Texas.
A magistrate in the McAllen Municipal Court determined probable cause was sufficient to issue a warrant of arrest for Devin Davila, 17 years old, for Purchase/Furnishing of Alcohol for a Minor, a Class “A” Misdemeanor. Devin Davila was also charged with Misrepresentation of Age by a Minor, a Class “C” Misdemeanor, and Possession of Alcohol by a Minor, a Class “C” Misdemeanor. Davila was arrested Wednesday, April 29, 2026 and arraigned in the McAllen Municipal Court. Davila was transferred to the Hidalgo County Jail in lieu of $3,000 PR bond.
McAllen Police Investigators continue their investigation. Additional arrests and charges may be forthcoming.

McALLEN, Texas – Responding Officers were dispatched in reference to “multiple underage subjects are drinking at location.” The Reporting Party (RP) contacted police to check a residence on the 1800 block of Kingsborough Avenue, in McAllen, after they received a “picture of incident and reported approximately 30 people at the location.
Responding Officers observed people in the front yard of the residence and confirmed a social gathering at the home. Officers attempted to contact the occupants of the residence on Kingsborough Avenue but were met with no response.
Officers made contact with the homeowner through a remote security service. The homeowner advised Officers the residence was rented through an online property rental service, Airbnb. The homeowner assisted Officers with entry into the residence. Officers observed multiple alcoholic beverage cartons and alcoholic beverages throughout the home. Several minors were detained for further investigation of alcohol violations. Minors, in this case, are defined as a person under 21 years of age.
During the course of this investigation, Officers issued 25 citations for Possession of Alcohol by a Minor. Minors suspected of alcohol consumption were released to responsible parties.
