IBC Bank employees and community leaders to boost financial literacy

Texas Border Business – 

(October 10, 2016) McAllen, Texas – IBC Bank-McAllen recently hosted a  financial literacy training in an effort to increase financial know-how among IBC employees, teachers and community leaders. Special guest speaker Alfred “Al” Coleman, Community Affairs Specialist for the FDIC Dallas region, introduced the FDIC “Money Smart” curriculum and shared information on presentation best practices. IBC employees will continue to provide financial literacy lessons to children and adults in the McAllen area.

“IBC Bank is committed to increasing financial literacy participation in our community by providing training opportunities to our employees and community members,” said IBC Bank-McAllen President and CEO David Guerra. “We are proud to offer continued education opportunities and look forward to implementing more training sessions like this across the city.”
