“I have a passion for helping people – I believe that we are ‘people of value, adding value to people.’ Having grown up in a family business, I understand the challenges of owning a small business, from the financial ups and downs to the emotional strain. I’m looking forward to using my personal and professional experience to help other business owners and company leaders improve their businesses – and their lives – through The Growth Coach RioGrande Valley,” Ramirez said.

As a Growth Coach, Ramirez is certified in The Strategic Mindset coaching process, which adheres to the standards, practices and policies that the International Coaching Federation has set forth in their Code ofProfessional Standards and Ethics. The company’s landmark Strategic Mindset Process is so effective that it comes with a money-back guarantee.

Ramirez is a graduate of Texas A&M University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He has been a student of leadership since 2000, a John Maxwell team member since 2017 and is a licensed Realtor with Keller Williams.

Growing up in the small town of Mercedes, Ramirez and his three siblings were always involved in helping to provide for the family by helping their dad with farming, harvesting, transporting and selling produce. The family then concentrated on the trucking business and that business helped provide the seed funding for the family to launch Lightbulbs and More, now called Zerimar Lighting Solutions. Both the trucking business and the lighting business are still in operation.

“When we were focused on farming and growing the trucking business, it was always a challenge to make ends meet, to the point that there was not always food in the fridge. As we were growing the trucking and lighting businesses, there was a lot of heartache I know we could have avoided with the right guidance,” Ramirez said.“When I see businesses or ministries open and close, my heart goes out to everyone involved. I know what goes into launching a business or starting an organization, and it’s not a lack of heart that causes the issues, but a lack of administration or direction.

That’s where The Growth Coach comes in. As a Growth Coach, my desire is to help business owners and leaders not only to move forward with speed, but move forward with speed and go in the right direction.”In addition to his work in the business community, Ramirez has been active in his local church since he was15. He has had the opportunity to serve as a youth leader, media director, guest speaker, elder and youth pastor. He has been married to his wife, Damaris Ramirez, since 2010.

The Growth Coach, founded in Cincinnati, Ohio, sold its first franchise in 2003, but its leaders have a successful 20-year track record of helping business leaders find success and balance. Today the business and sales coaching franchise is in more than 100 markets worldwide. The Growth Coach was included in Bond’s “Top 100Franchises” and recognized in Entrepreneur Magazine’s “Franchise 500” and “Best of the Best,” in USA Today and has been featured on FOX, CBS and NBC.
