FALFURRIAS, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents stopped a tractor trailer from smuggling six illegal aliens past the immigration checkpoint.
On Wednesday, Falfurrias agents working at the immigration checkpoint referred a tractor trailer to the secondary inspection area. During the investigation, agents utilized a Z-portal to scan the vehicle and observed several subjects hidden amongst the cargo. Agents searched the trailer and located six illegal aliens hiding inside. Agents arrested the driver and the escorted all subjects inside the checkpoint for processing.
The case has been referred for criminal prosecution.
