EL PASO, Texas – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers working at the Ysleta border crossing apprehended a man with an outstanding warrant for sexual assault of a child out of the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, Colorado.

“This arrest is representative of the great work the men and women of CBP do on a daily basis and illustrates our commitment to keeping our nation and communities safe,” said Port Director Arnoldo Gomez.

On May 29, CBP officers encountered a 45-year-old male Mexican national arriving from Mexico via vehicle lanes.
