PHARR, Texas – PSJA North Early College High School Senior Jack Lugo signed a letter of intent to play football for Trinity University.
His accolades while at PSJA ISD include: 2021 First team All-District Running Back, Second Team All-District Athlete, and Second Team All-District Defensive End. In 2020, he was named Second Team All-District Fullback.
This past football season, he totaled 93 carries for 1,104 yards, 18 touchdowns (leading the district), and 11.9 yards per carry.
In addition to being a record-breaking athlete, Lugo is graduating as part of the top 20% of his class, is a 2-year member of the National Honor Society, is an Academic All-State Athlete and All-Area, All-Purpose Player of the Year.
