The City of McAllen officially inaugurated the La Vista Park revitalization project, which included new picnic tables; trash receptacles; replaced picnic shelters; upgraded Rental Pavilion fencing; a piñata pole; parking lot pavers; a parking lot seal coat; upgrades to the previous restroom; constructed the kitchenette’s new walls, windows, doors, lighting, paint and fixtures installed; new irrigation and landscaping; and new playscape equipment. The total revitalization investment was $285,206.
