Wells Fargo presented a $20,000 grant to Buckner International RGV

On Friday, May 24, 2019 the Wells Fargo Builds program, which provides financial support to nonprofit organizations, presented a $20,000 donation to Buckner International RGV to support build of a home in the lower Rio Grande Valley. This grant includes over 300 hours of volunteer service by 30 Wells Fargo team members who will work on this build. 

As part of this program, the Wells Fargo team members get to participate in helping build, renovate, paint or repair a home for low-to-moderate income (LMI) homebuyers or homeowners.  

The delivery of the check ceremony took place at the Wells Fargo Branch 120 W Nolana St., McAllen, Texas.Wells Fargo South Texas Region Bank President, Alma Ortega Johnson; Wells Fargo Commercial Banking Relationship Manager, Alex Cardenas; and Diego Silva, Director of the Buckner Family Hope Center at PeƱitas were part of the event.
