More than 1,500 students from 25 early college high schools (ECHS) across the Valley received a certificate or an associate degree on May 11, the largest number of ECHS students in STC’s history. STC conferred over 3,700 degrees in five ceremonies on May 11 and 12.

South Texas College’s Mid-Valley Campus celebrated the opening of new construction including a Health Professions and Sciences Building that spans over 77,000 square feet. The Mid-Valley Campus Library was also renovated and expanded. The Student Services Building was expanded to include a new enrollment center that will assist the more than 3,500 students that register for classes at the campus.
