Guy Bodine, Chairman, President and CEO of Vantage Bank Texas has announced his plans to retire from banking after 53 years in the industry.
For over a year now, Guy has expressed an interest in spending more time with his family and the pursuit of other personal interests.
The merger of the two Banks presents the perfect opportunity for this to occur in a seamless manner. He has agreed to stay through the legal merger date to help with the transition.
Today, Sam Munafo has been named President and CEO of Vantage Bank Texas effective upon the consummation of the merger between Vantage Bank Texas and Inter National Bank. Sam has led the INB team since 2012 and we are pleased to have him lead the combined organization.
He and Guy will work closely over the next two months to ensure the success of the merger. Guy and Sam are committed to their teams and to the customers of the banks and share the common goal of creating the premier banking institution in South and Central Texas and beyond.
