Texas Border Business
Austin, Texas – Today, Monica De La Cruz-Hernandez filed to be as a Republican candidate for U.S Congressional District 15. The State Farm agent and co-owner of Navi Business Group will focus her campaign on promoting family values, immigration reform, protecting private property and small businesses.
“I thank all the people that have supported me,” said Monica and added, “four different teams in four different counties collected 67 pages of signatures for my petition.” “People who will vote for me in the primary and have committed to support Monica de la Cruz Hernandez.” In closing, she added, “Together we will flip CD 15 Red and will make history in 2020.”
Monica is thankful to friends, family, members of her team and the donors who have invested financially to make this campaign happen.
“Our country is facing uncertain times. Our district is ready for a new generation of Republicans to step up and connect with different parts of our district. I want to be a breath of fresh air to local Republicans who are ready to push our values forward. I’m a working mom, business owner and job creator. I have the background that many people across this district can relate to. I have unique life and business experience with a vision to move South Texas forward.”
“ I love God, our Country, Texas and our community. I have served in several capacities within the community and will work hard to do so on a national level. I feel a personal responsibility to stand up and fight for what I believe in.
I believe that by supporting and strengthening family values, we will combat issues such as gun violence, abortion and drug abuse. Being a Hispanic that was raised and now lives on the Border, I see both the opportunity of the American Dream and the hardship of a failed immigration system. When we reform our immigration system to make it easier to come in the U.S the right way than the wrong way, we all win. I want to help welcome legal immigrants to our beautiful country and protect our communities at the same time. As a small business and private property owner, I will protect what we have worked so hard to earn.”
