THANK YOU! to all who attended and made the 2019 McAllen State of the City Address possible

Over 1,000 people attended Mayor Darling’s  2019 McAllen State of the City address. 

The event included musical and comedic magical performances, student participation, 14 special guest videos, a memorable and entertaining entrance and a speech that lasted approximately 60 minutes long.

“I really enjoyed delivering today’s presentation, because there is so much to say,” said Mayor Darling. 

“From all of our accomplishments to our vision for the future, it is important to share that information with our business, education and community leaders and members of the media so that our message reaches everyone in the Rio Grande Valley, South Texas, Mexico and beyond.”

Mayor Darling also acknowledged that because of the jam-packed message and video presentations, he was extremely grateful to all who attended the event and especially, to all those who were able to stay until the end to find out what is truly the magic of McAllen.
