“Hector’s experience in the non-profit space and deep knowledge of starting and scaling companies gives him a dynamic, hands-on working knowledge of challenges facing Texas businesses,” said Jeff Moseley, CEO, and president, TAB. “He will be a great compliment to our leadership team and his deep finance background will help TAB measure progress, manage risk, and grow responsibly for our members.”

Silva is a 28-year financial, marketing, and communications veteran with extensive experience in financial strategy, planning, and analysis. He spent the last seven years at Big Embassy, a Branding and Business Strategy firm which he co-founded. “I can’t imagine a more exciting time to join TAB,” said Silva. “First, the sense of mission in fighting for Texas’ jobs and paychecks among TAB’s amazingly talented and passionate team is stronger than ever and their new headquarters move closer to the Capitol solidifies it. I look forward to serving as a strategic partner to the entire team and board as we continue building and moving into a new era advocating for Texas businesses.”

Silva is a proud graduate of McAllen Memorial High School.  He went on to earn a Finance degree from UTSA and an MBA from OLLU.  Silva’s first official day was February 25th.
