In preparation for inclement weather this week, the City of Alamo is offering sandbags to residents. Sandbags are only available to residents within city limits. Proof of residence is required. Sandbags can be picked up at Alamo City Hall (420 N. Tower Road, Alamo, TX, 78516) until 5 PM. The Alamo Service Center (803 S Tower Rd, Alamo, TX 78516) will be available for residents after hours for sandbag distribution from 5 PM – 6 PM. Proof of residence is still required to obtain sandbags. Sandbags must be self filled at any of our 3 locations:
Alamo Sports Complex
Ridge and Tower Road
Alaniz Park
6th and Duranta
Balli Park
8th and Nebraska
Please be prepared to fill your own bags with your own shovel. Residents over 60 years old or with a disability can stop by Alamo City Hall for a voucher to get pre-filled sandbags from our City of Alamo Service Center.
