EDINBURG, Texas– Cinnaholic, one of the fastest growing plant-based concepts in the country, opened on Friday, July 28 in Edinburg, TX, the first Cinnaholic in the Rio Grande Valley area. Located at the Trenton Drive Plaza, Cinnaholic – Edinburg will offer the brand’s famous plant-based, allergen-friendly cinnamon rolls and other delicious desserts seven days a week.

Cinnaholic has grown in popularity in the past two years with more than 70 locations currently operating in the United States and Canada, more than 30 in development, and 50 more locations anticipated for 2023. Cinnaholic was recently ranked among Entrepreneur magazine’s Franchise 500® list.

As with all Cinnaholic stores, Cinnaholic – Edinburg is locally owned and operated by Jessica and Shane Pederson. Prior to becoming small business owners, Jessica was a speech language pathologist, and Shane was a physical therapist. Now the couple is excited to live their dream of opening a bakery in their hometown.

“We are so excited to introduce some Cinnful treats to the Rio Grande Valley,” said Jessica Pederson. “Cinnaholic is a place where each roll is crafted with love and passion, and helps satisfy every dessert craving. There’s something for everyone, and it’s all plant-based and allergen-friendly so anyone can enjoy.”

Cinnaholic – Edinburg will offer the same menu as all other locations, including the famous cinnamon rolls, edible cookie dough and additional sweet treats like brownies, cookies, “Baby Buns,” and “Cinnacakes,” along with Dole soft serve. Seasonal menu items are anticipated. Cinnaholic – Edinburg will offer catering and large-size ordering as well for events, meetings and more. All Cinnaholic products are 100 percent vegan, dairy- and lactose-free, egg-free, cholesterol-free and allergen-friendly. 

Along with the regular menu rolls offered year-round, Cinnaholic – Edinburg will serve the limited seasonal flavors, including Peach Cobbler Roll, Pineapple Upside Down Roll and Lemonberry Coffee Cake.
