Edinburg, TX- Construction is in motion for Hidalgo County Precinct 4’s new Justice Center set to commence October 1, 2021. Employees and the public are expected to be able to use this facility by October 2022.

LAREDO, Texas – U.S. Customs and Border Protection today announced the opening of a soft-sided facility in Laredo, Texas. Since April 2020, CBP has seen a steady increase in border encounters from the Western Hemisphere due in part to worsening economic conditions brought on by the COVID 19 pandemic and natural disasters affecting the area.

WESLACO – As part of an ongoing road construction project, Hidalgo County Precinct 1 announced the closure of a section of Mile 10 N. at the intersection of Mile 6 W. in Weslaco. The area will be closed to traffic as contractors excavate the full depth of the roadway.
