Rio Grande Valley, Texas – (July 7, 2016) –  American Advertising Federation – Rio Grande Valley (AAF-RGV) will feature patent and trademark attorney Wendy Buskop as part of their monthly luncheon on Tuesday, July 12th at 11:30 a.m. at the McAllen Country Club.

The presentation titled: IP, What is it and why should I care will provide valuable information on how to protect your company and your clients from IP infringement in the increasingly digital world we work in.

Luncheon fee is $25 for AAF members, $30 for non-members and $20 for students.

With nearly 100 members across the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, the AAF-RGV meets several times a year. At these meetings, many national or regional industry leaders are featured to discuss a variety of topics directed at increasing advertising expertise.

The AAF–RGV is an affiliate member of the AAF national organization headquartered in Washington, D.C. The AAF-RGV is one of more than 220 such professional advertising and marketing chapters, representing over 50,000 members nationwide. It is the only professional advertising trade association that encompasses all segments of the industry in its membership, that is, advertising agency, media, supplier and client. It is this melding of thought that makes the Ad Club special.

The AAF divides its membership into 15 Districts nationwide. The AAF-RGV is a member of the AAF’s 10th District that represents over 2,800 members in 26 chapters in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. The 10th District provides organizational help and offers networking between various markets. Statewide, it helps fight legislation that may be unfriendly to advertising.
