San Juan, Texas –  Marcos Pedraza Jr., an incoming senior at PSJA Early College High School, was selected for the competitive 2018 Blue-Grey Football Super Regional Combine Circuit held at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington from June 2-3, 2018.

Pedraza plays Outside Linebacker for the PSJA Bears Football Team and has received honors such as the Outside Linebacker of the Year Award by his coaches as a sophomore and was the 31-6A 2nd Team All-District Defensive Outside Linebacker his junior year.

Blue-Grey Football was established in 1989 and the founders were Gus Bell and his son Erik Bell. Together, they established the brand to help prep prospects from all over the country receive national exposure and increase their chances to secure scholarships to a college, whether that be at the NCAA Division I level, or II, III, NAIA or Junior College.

As part of the combine circuit, athletes get to work out in front of coaching staff comprised of NFL veterans and teams of experienced scouts. Recruits that perform well during the competitive combine, have the opportunity to be selected to play in the exclusive invite-only Blue-Grey All-American Bowls at the NFL Stadium.

According to PSJA ECHS Football Coach Lupe Rodriguez, the 2018 Blue-Grey Football Super Regional Combine Circuit is an incredible opportunity for athletes.

“We’re very proud of Marcos,” said Coach Rodriguez. “We always encourage our students to take advantage of any training opportunities they can to improve. This is one of those incredible opportunities.”

Pedraza is grateful for the help and support he has received from his family and PSJA.
