RIO GRANDE CITY–Nighttime milling and paving operations are planned on US 83 in Rio Grande City beginning Sunday, Sept. 13, and continuing through Thursday, Sept. 17. The work will continue for approximately four weeks between Charco Blanco Road and Fairgrounds Road.

Drivers will encounter temporary lane closures and possible delays along this major corridor through downtown Rio Grande City while crews are working.

Digital message boards will be activated to remind motorists of the planned paving work.
